Godefroid Chapelle

Godefroid is one of the Belgian Plonistas .

He uses Python and Zope since 1999. He has joined Zope 3 development in June 2002 at the sprint before the first EuroPython conference.

Since then he has been part of Zope 2, Zope 3, Plone and Archetypes development teams.

He has founded BubbleNet in October 1999.

Professional developer since 1994, he has had experiences with Visual Basic, Delphi before joining the open source crowd.

He had been programming since the Commodore Vic 20 ages (in 1982) where he did learn Basic on paper. He was going to the computer shop to input his programs and test them.

Godefroid graduated in 1990 as Civil Engineer in electricity at the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium. Father of 4, he speaks French, English, Dutch and Japanese (listed in decreasing ability ;-).
